Ok, so I've lagged in the blogging department this week. I don't know I guess I just haven't been in the mood. I don't know. Anyway...just figured I'd put up a quick post as I'm sitting at the car dealership waiting on my van to be serviced.
I am pretty excited about the weekend. Ed is going out of town to visit his sister, take a little break from the kids, and go to the Carolina-Tennessee basketball game. Seems Deanna, his sister, got them box tickets, again.
I'm looking forward to relaxing and watching some movies. Will, my brother, gave me an Amazon.com gift card for my birthday (I highly recommend this gift-you can buy anything with it!) and I ordered two new movies. I don't often buy movies, as I find there aren't many I want to watch more than once. I will buy DVD's for the kids, of course, but not often for myself. I ordered, "What Dreams May Come" as I was reminded recently, by a very dear friend, what a great movie this is and I look forward to re-watching it. I also think it is just a beautifully crafted movie, the colors, the images...just gorgeous.
I also ordered, "Inkheart". Now, I don't think I'd ever heard of this, but my twitter friend, @Darkwulfe recommended it to me (he also has a very insightful blog you should definitely read: Musings of a Madman.) Several times. So I caved and bought it. It looks promising, I'll let you know...and you can be sure I will let him know, if I don't like it! :)

My son loves the Inkheart series of books. I haven't read them yet, but they look interesting.
What Dreams May Come is a WONDERFUL film. You can almost just watch it with the sound off. Scene for scene it's just a beautiful picture.
