Not My Child! Monday

This is Molly. Molly is a troublemaker. An adorably sweet troublemaker, but a troublemaker, nonetheless. Molly's latest trick is to make, well, let's call them "concoctions". Molly likes to take Mommy's expensive spices and Mommy's ketchup and syrup and hot sauce and make "concoctions".  Well up until this past Saturday I would get frustrated but tried to chalk it up to her being a budding chef.

This is what happened Saturday:
This would be my living room carpet. The stain? That would be ketchup, hot sauce and syrup. This is after I got the bulk of it wiped up. This is after I calmed down just enough to realize that at some point this would be funny. This is before, however, I discovered the stain cleaner I used bleached my carpet. Yep. I made a bigger miss than Molly did!

Zach's reaction. "Uh-oh, Sissy is in T-R-O-U-B-L-E!
Later that evening:
I think she wore herself out. I know she wore me out completely. Did I mention my vacuum cleaner now smells of a noxious blend of spices every time I use it? Bless her heart. I suppose I should enroll her in cooking classes as soon as she can read.

From the stories that floated around my house, my eldest brother used to do this quite a lot. He was a French trained chef as an adult, who did very well for himself.

So, there's hope. ;-)

Kim-
My brother used to do it too. He also went to chef school, only in England not France. But he has also done quite well for himself, so perhaps there is a correlation??

If this happened at my house, I would shit twice and roll back in it. Luckily, I am equipped with all the stain fighting cleaners known to mankind. LOL.

Poor Molly. I just want to pick that baby up and hug her! But I'm her Nana, so that's natural.

Spill a pile of cinnamon on the kitchen floor and vacuum it up - maybe that'll make the other spice smells go away!
